Syrup & Butter, Oh My!

Remember when I made pumpkin scones? I had a ton of pumpkin puree left over and my brain was moving like a movie reel. I could not get recipes out my head. I decided on making pumpkin syrup for delicious lattes at home and pumpkin butter to slather on buttery toast, biscuits, scones, steak… well, maybe not steak, but you get the drift, the stuff will taste good on anything!

Delicious pumpkin butter! Hot or cold!

Here are the recipes I followed. I didn’t have cinnamon sticks or cloves on hand so I just went with ground cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin pie spice. Usually PPS covers most fall flavors.

Pumpkin Butter: Eat Yourself Skinny (sounds nice, huh??)
