Chicago Day 1 Cont.

It’s been such nice, long weekend for us! We had a great time I Chicago and we can’t wait to go back!

We did a lot of fun things while we were there but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Back to day 1.

When Pierre got back to the hotel on Friday night we quickly got ready and headed to dinner. We decided to try a Chicago favorite and walked a few blocks to the famous Giordano’s.
There was a huge line and a 45 minute wait for a table. We were expecting that considering its a big tourist spot. The great thing about Giordano’s is that they take your pizza order while you’re waiting for a table because it takes about an hour to bake. We were seated within 20 minutes! We both started with a local blonde beer that I can’t remember name of! But it was light and went well with pizza.

We ordered salads, Waldorf for me and Caesar for Pierre, and the Parmesan Garlic Fries. Amazing.

The only dilemma we can ran into was that Pierre wanted meat in his pizza and I obviously didn’t. More pizza for me, darn! We ordered a small meat lovers and a small veggie. Let me tell you, there was nothing small about them.

The dough was amazing! It was like eating a buttered biscuit. Heavenly. After all that we said no to dessert, we were totally stuffed. I only ate one slice of pizza and Pierre had two.We walked back to the hotel and called it a night. I know, we’re wild and crazy. #parentlife
